The brief
What does a professional delegation actually need from a Korea study tour? It needs to compare urban regeneration at different city scales, with technical visits and named site inspections of the people doing the work — not a sightseeing loop. HYEAN designed a four-city route to do exactly that.
The challenge
- A delegation of expert practitioners expects technical visits and peer-level access, not a tourist itinerary.
- Urban regeneration looks different at small-town, rural, metropolitan and capital scale — one study tour had to cover all four.
- Per-guest dietary and accessibility requirements (halal, celiac, asthma, mobility) had to be handled to a documented standard.
What we did
- Built the ground programme and transfers on an Incheon → Chungju → Daegu → Seoul routing to compare urban regeneration across city scales.
- Arranged technical visits and site inspections across Seoul (Bukchon · Changsin-dong · Seongsu-dong · Ikseon-dong) and Daegu (modern alleys · Bukseong-ro urban regeneration).
- Managed a detailed rooming list and per-guest halal, celiac and mobility manifest, with single-room supplements itemised as separate lines.
- Produced bilingual (KR/EN) proposals, partner-facing versions and reissued invoices as the headcount changed.
